All of this Olympic goodness is really making me want to rewatch The Cutting Edge. This is probably my all time number one favorite sports movie. Yes it's kitchy, yes it's poorly filmed, yes it was probably written by a bunch of monkeys in front of typewriter... But it's beautiful! It's heart warming, it's funny, and D.B Sweeney is just a peach! It's one of those movies where after you watch it you definitely want to become an Olympic athlete and figure skate your way to Olympic gold!Unfortunately I can't skate to save my life and would never be able to find a straight partner to fall in love with. It's too bad that Moira and D.B weren't Canadian, then maybe we would have won a Gold in Calgary, cause lets be honest, they totally won.
Now all I have to do is get my DVD back from my sister and I'll be set! Who needs the real Olympics, when I have this fabricated Hollywood wonder to watch instead?
