I hereby declare my status as a feminist. I've just watched the longest string of male chauvinistic, patriarchal, racist, heteronormative crap and I HATE IT. Fuck em!
Why are women given roles that amount to either prostitute or mother? Where are all the strong women? Maybe I should watch something made after 1973... Not sure it would do much good.

ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me, the strongest people on Earth are Mothers and women in general. It's unfair to name drop prostitute and only involve women as there are men who do this job to,there are male strippers, male whores and male escorts. I will never in my life have the strength to do what a Mother does and what her body has to go through to create life. There are so many stories about single mothers who raise six kids while holding two jobs in a two and a half apartment complex. Her children then go on to lead better lives than her because of the hardships she endured.
Now tell me that's not fucking empowering and impressive.
